Community Involvement

Robert has worked with many non profit organizations.  He has been known to do long distance hikes to raise awareness for veteran issues.  When in Indiana, he worked with Mayor Ballard establish a Veteran Networking group to raise money for homeless veterans.  Since moving back to New York, he hiked up the east coast raising funds and awareness to veteran and service member suicide. 

Robert has founded an organization, Vets' Lives Matter, that not only increases awareness to veteran unemployment, homelessness, alcoholism, addiction, and suicide - but implements ideas in local and state levels through New York State Congress and Senate.  Robert is the Vice President of Project9Line a Long Island non-profit dedicated to healing transitioning veterans through the arts.  Robert is also the Deputy and Chapter Captain for Team RWB Long Island, another non-profit whose mission is to enrich veterans lives through social and physical activities in the communities they serve.

Aside from the veteran issues, Robert has helped cleanup after Super Storm Sandy, helped raise money and awereness for childhood cancer, and volunteers his time with children with special needs.
